Riding lessons at SLS are innovative, fun and confidence-boosting. No shouting or aggressive behaviour is tolerated from either instructor or rider.
Each session boasts around 4-6 riders and horses and they are carefully selected based on ability and experience. It is not uncommon to have two or three rides occurring simultaneously with one flatwork lesson and one hack, for example.
Riders are initially assessed in a 1:1 lesson so we can gauge what to work on and how to proceed. Riders are then continually assessed by the instructor in every lesson so it is clear what the aim is for each lesson and also aids progression.
