Equestrian Services in North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire is England's largest county and one of its best for riding. It is home to two national parks, the North York Moors and part of the Yorkshire Dales, and to Malton and Middleham, two of the country's best-known racehorse training centres. York Racecourse is one of the most famous courses in the north.

Where to ride in North Yorkshire
For hacking and trekking, few places beat the open moorland, forest tracks and dales of North Yorkshire. Dalby Forest and the moors around Pickering and Helmsley offer long rides with wide views, while the Dales around Leyburn and Richmond have green lanes and traditional stone-walled tracks. Trekking centres here often cater for holidaymakers as well as local riders.
