Equestrian Services in Hampshire

Hampshire is home to the New Forest, one of the most famous riding areas in Britain, where free-roaming New Forest ponies graze across open heath and woodland. Add the South Downs to the east, and it is easy to see why the county is so popular with riders.

Where to ride in Hampshire
The New Forest National Park offers miles of open forest and heathland riding, with many livery yards and riding centres around Fordingbridge, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Romsey. The South Downs National Park and the South Downs Way, which is open to horse riders, run into the east of the county near Winchester. Always give the forest's ponies and livestock plenty of space, and follow the local rules for riding on the forest.
